Samara Shopping Mall

The building was designed to give a modern look and function and answer the needs of shopping and recreation to an existing marketplace mainly comprised of small huts.

The complex was initially planned as 3 seperate masses. The construction was planned in phases in order to speed up the construction and to be able to put in the complex in service as soon as possible to anwer the management needs.

The blocks were attached with bridges and the whole building was aimed to serve as a gate way for the remaining shopping huts behind the complex.

A food court and movie theaters were placed within the centre block and the side blocks were planned to serve as shopping areas.

Skylights were placed on the roof to allow sunlight to the interiors.
